January 25, 2012 at 7:02 amDownloaded it when I saw it featured on Toucharcade today and loving it! I must have played a couple of hours by now. Love the graphics, character design and music. Only unlocking the second row of recipes in the Gravy Chug now, can’t wait to see what’s next and meet some more special customers and staff! (I adore the GC waitress.)
I’m just a little confused about the health inspector visiting; is it randomly determined? He appeared right after I’d cleaned my Chug, it was rather upsetting to be shut down.
6 | Team Chicken
January 25, 2012 at 11:43 am@Maja – Yeah, we’ve noticed that he is a bit aggressive. He’s actually not supposed to show up at all for several days after you have cleaned. He’s only supposed to start checking in when you’re going a while without cleaning. On our list to fix with an update.
Glad your enjoying the game! Stay tuned for more in the coming weeks and months!
Also, if you or anyone else you know is playing, be sure to check out the Game’s Facebook page. This is the quickest way for us to update players with new information and offer tips on the game! http://www.facebook.com/OrderUpToGo

January 26, 2012 at 12:34 pmHello,
I had been having fun with this game and have sunk a lot of time into it, unlocking everything up until the Italian restaurant. But I recently quit the application in the middle of a service, and now when I try restarting the game and hit Continue at the main menu, it immediately crashes back to the iOS desktop. I’m at a loss, and I’m really unhappy to lose my progress. I was looking forward to spending more time with this game, but I don’t want to reinstall and start over from scratch, especially if this might happen again in the future. An advice for fixing this issue?
Thanks.

January 26, 2012 at 12:37 pmOh, I should also mention that I’m on an iPad 2.
9 | Team Chicken
January 26, 2012 at 1:06 pm@Richard – We have heard of few instances of this happening and are working on a fix for the next update (which is likely due in the next 2 weeks). When you say you quit in the middle of a service, what exactly were you doing, do you recall? It could help us track it down. And by “quit” do you mean that you closed the app, or terminated it completely (not running in the background if you double click the home button on the iPad)?
As for your progress (save file), it should still be there as long as you don’t actually delete the App. If the update can address the problem, you game should pick right back up where you left off. We just have to figure out what is telling it to quit.

January 26, 2012 at 1:46 pmThanks for the response! I’m happy my game might not be lost. I believe I was washing dishes, or possibly it was during the cutscene when the health inspector comes through the door. It was late, and I thought, “eh, maybe I’ll get a few more tables in before going to bed,” but when the inspector arrived I decided I’d rather not deal with washing dishes right then, so I quit. I just closed the app… I didn’t turn off the iPad. It’s possible that I terminated it entirely, but I don’t think I did.
Incidentally, one other and maybe related bug report: I occasionally hit some strange behavior following a crash during meal prep. On returning to the game, I would serve the customers again, and when they got their food, the camera would stay fixed on them while they ate and after they left, leaving me unable to do anything else. Quitting to the main menu and starting again would have me serve the same customers again, but the problem would still happen after I served them. I would need to eventually end the day, losing the meals I prepped. This happened four or five times and with increasing frequency… I wondered whether the problem wasn’t linked. The game doesn’t seem to much like coming back onto the middle of a play session.

January 27, 2012 at 8:51 ami want to love this game, but how in the heck do you fill drinks??? I can get them in the machine no problem, but i’ve tried every swiping motion under the sun and can’t get them to stop! On an iphone4 if that helps
12 | Team Chicken
January 27, 2012 at 10:53 am@Richard – Could you please email us at support@svsgames.com? We will be happy to personally address the crash you are receiving, we just need a little more detailed info such as iOS version, etc.
13 | Team Chicken
January 27, 2012 at 11:27 am@Jud – When you want to finish a drink, tap the Done/Plate button. Drinks work much like the cooked/grilled items, in that you watch them until they are where you want, and you just take them off/finish them. Of course, if you have multiple drinks going at the same time, tap the one you want to take off (it will highlight), and then tap the Done/Plate button (just like tapping the left or right grill to pick which burger to take off first).

January 27, 2012 at 5:44 pmMy wife and I were watching out 7 year old niece this week and downloaded this game onto her iPad2… what a great, fun game! She had a blast cooking things up and remembering which customers liked special spices on their food… when we left she was working hard trying to earn up the money to open a new restaurant! Congratulations on putting together a fun, yet educational, game for all ages! One question: will you be developing an Android version?
16 | Team Chicken
January 27, 2012 at 5:50 pm@Michael – Hold on to that hat! You can’t get those anymore! You’ll see newer boxes of the original Wii game that don’t have the graphic at the bottom of the box.
17 | Team Chicken
January 27, 2012 at 6:00 pm@Glen – AWESOME! We love hearing that people are playing the game together, especially when younger players dig in to the layers that a lot of other players don’t even take advantage of. You guys will dig the Assistant Chefs that are coming soon as well. All new characters that you can actually hand tasks off to and interact with. And each has a specialty (this guy is slow, but always perfect, while this gal fast and perfect, but she’s expensive to hire…and then there’s the monkey).

January 28, 2012 at 1:00 amHi, I’ve been really enjoying this game until recently when bugs started to well, bug my gameplay.
I am facing a similar problem as Richard as above- the camera would stay fixated on customers who were having their meal I have just prepared- and it stays there. They would be done and would leave but nothing changes. As with Richard, quitting to the main menu and starting again would have me serve the same customers again, but the problem would still happen after I served them. I am eventually forced to select “End Day” which loses all my prepped dishes. I don’t know why but its increasing in frequency ever since I moved on to the Mexican restaurant. I am using iOS 4.3.3.

1. “this location must be downloaded…”
2. Touched “yes”
3. Waited for it to dl
4. DL complete/reached 100%
5 clicked into it (all excited) and then it repeats steps 1 to 5 again
And this just keeps happening. (clearly I’ve done this a few times :0)

January 29, 2012 at 1:07 pmI now have the same problem with the game crashing repeatedly. I was in the middle of a day at the 2nd restaurant, and i had to pause the game for an extended period of time. Now when I launch the game, I get past the splash screens, but when I select the continue button, the game crashes.
I have tried rebooting my phone, but it does not help.
There is a crash report on my iphone for the app, The header is:
Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0×00000004

I will send it into support@svsgames.com.

January 30, 2012 at 2:38 pm@Kat – Haven’t seen this issue yet. Are you by any chance on iOS 5? We have just fixed an issue in which the phone itself will wipe out a directory that we are putting data in (like a new restaurant download) if the device detects that it’s low on space. Actually, I think that’s exactly what’s happening to Jeff at the bottom of this page. This seems to be the most common issue, so hopefully you can grab the update (should be ready to grab in about a week) and it will fix it. Otherwise, if you email us at support@svsgames.com, we try to get additional information from your device (nothing personal, I assure you) and try to troubleshoot it directly that way.

January 30, 2012 at 2:45 pm@Courtney – The only free version of the game at the moment, is Order Up!! To Go on iPad/iPhone/iPod. A fully-featured version of Order Up!! (complete with a fun storyline) will also be available for Nintendo 3DS and Playstation 3 (which has multi-player!) very soon! It’s actually already out in some European territories, but those are traditional retail games, and so are not free. And, of course, the original version of Order Up! is also still available on Wii, although it’s getting pretty tough to find.
26 | Team Chicken
January 30, 2012 at 2:50 pm@Melissa – Are you still on the first day at the Italian place? The red numbers should only happen once, which is on the very first day of any new restaurant. On that day, everything you order on the menu (your supplies, basically) is free. The red numbers tell you that more people will buy a particular item than you have supplies for. In the event you haven’t ordered enough of them, the red numbers just let you know this, so just bring that item back up and order more until the number turns white. If you have enough of everything for that day’s customers, all of the numbers should be white.
This Day 1 helper basically ensures that you have a perfect first day with no missed orders, and can start off the new place with a nice profit. Oh, and you don’t need to have the exact number, you can always go over, just to be safe. The red numbers go away after Day 1 and it’s up to you to plan your menu supplies based on the number of customer you will have that day.
But if this is happening on days after the first day, then something is up. Is that the case?
27 | Team Chicken
January 30, 2012 at 3:01 pm@Jeff – Thanks! I think we’ve fixed this for the next update. Basically, we’re seeing that iOS 5 wipes out a directory that we’re putting data in. When the game tries to start back up and see that directory empty, it crashes. This seems to be a particular way that iOS 5 handles low space. We’ll have an update very soon (hopefully no more than a week) ready to grab from the App Store.

February 1, 2012 at 11:54 amLove Order Up!! to Go ^^
But how do I archive the Menu Planning goal in Yarp?
After I unlocked El Fuego, I tried very best to order extra every dish and not to miss any order, but I still score “1″ after a few days…
Please clarify…
29 | Team Chicken
February 1, 2012 at 1:58 pm@J – Most of the the Yarp Stats take an average over the last 20 days. For Menu Planning, the easiest way to limit the orders that you will miss is to stock a few more plates than you actually need (24 customers and I’ll order 28-30 plates for example). What is you current number for menu planning (not the score)? Keep in mind too that not putting Spices on Chef’s Specials (if you have one on the menu that day) counts as a missed order for Menu Planning. For example, notice how the customer reacts when you serve them a regular burger, if they ordered the Onion Burger Special (but you didn’t spice it with the onion powder).
The points table for Menu Planning is as follows:
10 Points – Miss between 0 and 1.5 dishes per day (average)
9 Points – Miss between 1.6 and 2.0 dishes per day (average)
8 Points – Miss between 2.1 and 2.5 dishes per day (average)
7 Points – Miss between 2.6 and 3.0 dishes per day (average)
6 Points – Miss between 3.1 and 3.5 dishes per day (average)
5 Points – Miss between 3.6 and 4.0 dishes per day (average)
4 Points – Miss between 4.1 and 4.5 dishes per day (average)
3 Points – Miss between 4.6 and 5.0 dishes per day (average)
2 Points – Miss between 5.1 and 5.5 dishes per day (average)
1 Points – Miss 5.6 or more dishes per day (average)

February 3, 2012 at 6:04 pmHey I’m loving the game and am having a lot of fun with it, however the one thing im having trouble with is menu planning. February 3, 2012 at 7:37 pm@Chassmith – There is a response 2 posts above yours that shows the scoring table to Menu Planning. Should clarify the scoring aspect.
As for how many of each item to buy, you are one the right track to generally order more of the items on the right (more popular), than the left (less popular). Also, it’s pretty rare that you need more than 8 or so of any popular item, even in a full restaurant (30+ customers). But, you can also err on the side of overstocking, but you can generally just overstock popular stuff. Once you have a full menu, the less popular items tend to fall off quite a bit.
Also, if you are serving a Special, it will count as a missed order if you don’t spice it correctly (a BBQ Burger Special will come out as a normal Burger if you don’t put the BBQ sauce on the the correct step, which is show on the order ticket).
Hope that helps. Let us know if not.

February 4, 2012 at 8:48 amI’m struggling with the Menu Planning aspect as well. I’m stuck on 9.1 dishes missed on average with a score of “1″. I’ve had my restaurant running for 20 days and I’ve been ordering somewhere between 170% to 200% of the dishes required, along with every spice available. I’m 100% sure that I don’t miss any spices on any of my specials, etc.
I noticed that my number of dishes missed is going up even though I’m very evidently not missing any dish. Most recently, it went from 8.2 to 9.1 in a day when I had everything stocked and didn’t miss a single order. Either I’m missing something completely (and I’ve read both responses and I can say for sure I’ve applied all the principles in excess) or this is a problem with the game.
Thanks.

February 4, 2012 at 2:37 pmSame situation with @J
Tried very hard to order extra dishes, but still got very high avg missed plate: 7.x to 8.x
I hv checked my situation but still cannot get better
No chef special unlocked
When there r only three items in menu, the menu planning yarp is good at 10 pts
But once unlocked the 4th item, the critic would come next day
Then after that, the menu planning stats went high to 5.x to 6.x meant only 1 pt
Even how hard i tried to avoid any missing plate
The stats keep in high level
Hv i missed anythg for regular plates?

February 5, 2012 at 1:27 amHello everyone, I have the same problem with ” menu planning…
I never lose so many ordes o made something wrong with spices! I can’t figure out what’s the problem…Does overstocking dishes affect the average, for example if I have 10 guests and stock 15 dishes? Thanks
I followed all the advices and I understood I have to stock more popular dishes on the right side and spice correctly chef’s special and orders from guests who love spices but even when I don’t lose orders beacause I have enough food stocked and spiced correctly every dish at the end of the day the average get worse. Now my score is 1 and the average is 9

February 5, 2012 at 3:17 amHey guys,
I’m having problems in my menu planning. I had a score of 1 in my menu planning and I decided to repeat the game again. When I tried to do it again, I made sure that I won’t miss any dishes by stocking more. I’ve already played through 7 days and only missed ONE. Problem is, my menu planning score is on 8.3. Why is it like this? I haven’t unlocked any specials yet, all I have are the dishes on the first (top) row.

February 5, 2012 at 4:09 amHi, it’s the problem with menu planning again. My yarp stats indicate that I miss / spice incorrectly an average of 8.6 dishes per day, but that can’t be, because I’ve not missed any dish for quite a while already. All other stats are on the rise but menu planning score is fixed at 1. Please help!
39 | Paul C
February 5, 2012 at 8:58 amGood, fun game. Read your explanation of the Menu Planning stats. I think there must be a problem. I constantly overstocked and have only failed to have a meal available 2 or 3 times out of 100s. Yet my score never increases past 1. Looking at leader board, nobody has above 91 total score in gravy restaurant. That suggests others have same prob.

February 5, 2012 at 10:16 amI have been playing for a couple of days none stop. Love the game.
1 But for menu planning every Resturant day no matter I miss by a couple of orders or no missed my average is always between 8 to 9.5 everytime.
Is it a bug that count average is not done properly. Please help.
2 I have unlock all the menu in gc and ef. but the counts of menu quality is always 12.
Above 2 is not giving me the increasing yarp points. max now i can achieve for my both resturant is 87.
Short of 9 from menu planning
Short of 4 from menu quality.
I also notice many players in game centre in ef max score is 87 like me. Hence they may be facing the same issue as me.

February 6, 2012 at 6:14 pm@Christopher and all the way through to Keigosky – We are looking at the Menu Planning stat now, trying to figure out where it’s calculating what seems to be so many extra missed orders. The fix for this will be in the update that includes the first wave of Assistant Chefs (v. 1.2). We have an update that will appear in the App Store any day now, but unfortunately this one was submitted before the Menu Planning strangeness came to our attention. But we are investigating and will fix, and explain what we find.
@Keigosky – For Menu Quality, there are a total of 12 normal dishes on the menu, and 8 Daily Specials. The Daily Special is a single slot that is rolled every day. So the more of the 8 Daily Specials you have unlocked, the better you chance of having one appear on the menu. But in total, there are 8 of these that can be unlocked at each restaurant, and so there are 20 total menu items to unlock at each place.
42 | bolli
February 6, 2012 at 11:28 pmI have same problem with menu planning and as Keigosky pointed out, even when I unlocked all possible dishes(including all specials) my count for menu quality stays at 12 which is only 6 yarp point. I have unlocked every single dishes in every restaurant so far. The menu quality score does not go up higher than 12 dishes for all restaurants.
Please look into this problem also…
Thanks for great game though, I really enjoy it.
43 | Yellow
February 7, 2012 at 9:32 amSame problem as Keigosky about menu quality.
I’ve unlocked 11 dishes from the regular menu and 4 daily specials, but the yarp stats only indicate that 11 items have been unlocked. I originally thought that daily specials don’t count in the total tally, but since you said the total possible is 20, could there be a bug somewhere causing the unlocked daily specials to go unregistered?
Thanks a lot for your prompt responses!
44 | Team Chicken
February 7, 2012 at 11:48 am@Yellow – What is your actual Yarp Score for the 15 dishes you have unlocked? We’re trying to figure out if this is just a visual error on the dishes counter, or if it’s actually not counting the Specials toward your score. The scoring table is as follows (or should be at least):
3 or less = 1 point
4 or 5 = 2 points
6 or 7 = 3 points
8 or 9 = 4 points
10 or 11 = 5 points
12 or 13 = 6 points
14 or 15 = 7 points
16 or 17 = 8 points
18 or 19 = 9 points
20 = 10 points
So your 15 dishes unlocked should be worth a score of 7 Points. Is that the case, or are you seeing 5 Points, which would indicate that it is not tallying the Specials?
And to everyone, thanks for your feedback! We really do want to iron out the kinks as we are alerted to them and hope that everyone is having fun with the game!

February 10, 2012 at 12:45 pmHi, I’m loving the game! I seem to have a problem in the game; even after cleaning the restaurant every day, I keep getting rats invasions. February 12, 2012 at 4:46 amHi! Great game. When will the assistant chefs be available? Can’t wait. I’m having problem with the rats.. February 21, 2012 at 10:12 amLoved the game until I reached the Asian restaurant. The rats attacked after every cooking segment. Cleaning had no effect. While flicking a few mice is ok. The constant repetitive flicking is boring. I find myself choosing to play other games rather than face the mice,
Hope this is a glitch…. I want my game back!

February 21, 2012 at 4:41 pmAwesome game! Should be #1 in the app store like pocket god and angry birds used to be.
I have a question about the spices: are you suppose to put spices on ALL the different aspects of the dishes. For example, if they order burger & fries, do you put the particular spice on the meat, fries, lettuce, and tomato or do you put it on the meat only or does it not matter where you put it as long as you put it on one of the aspects and putting more spice on the other food would be irrelevant and have no effect whatsoever?
53 | Team Chicken
February 21, 2012 at 5:16 pm@Sky – The rampant rats issue is something that we’re looking at. Cleaning the restaurant is intended to keep them away much longer than is does at the moment.
@ADA – Assistants are coming very soon! The next update is being tested now, and we hope to have it available int he app store some time in the next 2 weeks!
@Ann – Yeah, the rats seem to be super aggressive in general. We’re looking into dialing them back for sure. Cleaning is supposed to give you a grace period where they won’t show up, but it’s seems to be a bit broken.
@Jazz – For the unique customers who like Spices (the one that likes anything sweet for example) you just need to put the spice on ANY part of their meal. For the Daily Special dishes, the menu ticket will show “Needs Spice” on the particular parts that require spices.

February 23, 2012 at 11:57 amThere is an achievement for cleaning your restaurant 20 days in a row. I clean my restaurant everyday by paying the coins but it still says that I’ve only gone 1 day without cleaning. Also in Gravy Chug I have 10 rating for everything but the available dishes. D I need to purchase all twenty dishes or just the 12 and the 4 specials?
Thanks
55 | Team Chicken
February 23, 2012 at 12:20 pm@Richie – The restaurant stat shows the number of days since you last cleaned, so if it’s a 1, that means you just cleaned it before you entered the restaurant and worked that day (still worth a perfect 10 score). The 20 Days achievement should trigger automatically on the 20 day in a row that you cleaned.
The Menu Quality stat requires that you unlock all 20 available dishes for a perfect 10 score (12 regular and 8 Specials). If you go to the Market from the Menu Board and choose Specials, you’ll see that each restaurant has a possible 8 available/unlock-able.

February 28, 2012 at 8:19 amGreat game! All my friends are addicted to it too.
However, there’s a problem. I have unlocked 19 dishes (12 regular + 7 specials) in Gravy Chug. According to the point system I should have a score of 9. However, 6 is what I’ve got in the game.
Can you fix this? Thank you!

February 29, 2012 at 1:45 amHey guys, great game, too addictive! A few glitches though:
I have all menu items and all special menu items unlocked at three restaurants, yet the highest yarp score I get for menu quality does not exceed 6 (for 12 menu items), bringing the highest total score to 96.
When preparing dishes that require no cooking, such as pizza and roasted chicken, Count Steakula will acknowledge the dish as being prepared to his liking and award double coins, yet Dusty Keister will not.
At Kung Fusion, first slice of the cucumber in the sushi dish is always blind (no yellow marking for a perfect slice).

March 2, 2012 at 4:08 amJust one more:
At Chez Haute, on the third and last row of dishes, the infinite dish awards 25 coins, while the second to rightmost dish awards only 15 coins.

March 4, 2012 at 6:30 amI can’t get menu quality above a 6…I have unlocked all menu items and all specials. Do I have to do something else besides unlock them? This is happening in all the restaurants.

March 4, 2012 at 3:06 pmHi Guys!! Great game. I also, would like to report that at “Chez Haute” I have unlocked all dishes ( regulare and special) and my yarp score is still 6.. A bit frustrating, because everything else is 10..
Ciao,
Walter

March 9, 2012 at 8:53 pmHi sv,
Firstly just wanna congratulate u guys on making such an addictive game. Keep ip the good work.
To the main issue then. Just downloaded the assistant chef update today and was really excited about it and hoping some issues are going to get ironed out. However the update presented a few new ones. FYI still at Gravy Chug and El Fuego.
1. The menu planning yarp score is still stuck at 1 and the number of missed dishes still hovers around the 8.4-8.5 mark even though i always prepped 30-50% more dishes than the number of guests. I’m seeing people reaching 100 points already on the leaderboard so not sure what is the problem with mine.
2. After updating, my average coins yarp points went down to 1 again with the average of 20 coins or so per day. Slowly climbing back up after a few days but still a bit disappointed that the update resetted the score.
3. Lastly, now when you touched the restaurant door, you automatically goes into the restaurant where before there was a “yes” or “no” option. This resulted in a couple of times i accidentally touched the door and had to end the day straight away cos i havent prepped anu dishes yet.
Hopefully will get those issues sorted soon.
But overall, awesome job!

March 22, 2012 at 7:02 amFor shame Supervillain Studios. You have such a great game, setting yourselves apart from other app developers through genuine playability but now when you release assistants, but only available through premium currency, you have sunk to the low level of money grubbing type developer like EA .
Redemption through updates. Please correct your mistake, I have already bought this game, I do not wish to pay for coins to play it again and again.
It has not gone unnoticed.

March 22, 2012 at 10:32 amWe’re sorry you feel that way Ben, but it’s also hardly warranted to call a company “money grubbing” because we would hope to make back some of the cost of creating a game like this. We don’t pay our employees or bill collectors with hugs and high-fives unfortunately, otherwise everything we did could be free for all time. As it is, the game is free. There is nothing in the game that is necessary for advancement that requires real currency.
Several of the assistants are available for silver coins, or gold. Like everything else in the game, we’ve left the choice up to the player. If you don’t want to pay gold coins for something, then don’t. Nice and simple. Additionally, there are several ways to earn upwards of 20+ gold coins without paying any real money as well (achievements, and checking out the Twitter and Facebook buttons on the Main Menu).
So again, we’re sorry that you feel the way you do, but we also have to deal with the reality of trying to find ways to offer as much as we have to players for free, without going out of business in the meantime. And that’s not to say that all assistants won’t have a silver coin price in the future.

March 22, 2012 at 10:35 am@Walter and Melanie – Glad you guys are liking the game! We are looking into more stat bugs as we move forward and update the app. We thought we fixed them, but some people are reporting other ways to see incorrect numbers.
@Chen – This is odd. We’ll definitely look at the pricing on the Chez Haute menu.

March 28, 2012 at 3:24 pmIm at the el restaurant and when i try to unlock the chef specials they said i need to purchase them. What does it mean? It’s not like other chef special items wherebyou can unlock it with gold ormsilver coins. This one just simply say you need to purchase them without saying how.

March 30, 2012 at 5:56 amAnother question, is there anyway to transfer progress from one device to another under the same owner? Also if i purchase the ad free ver on my ipad, will it charge me again on my iphone?

April 1, 2012 at 1:43 amJust downloaded Fusion King. There seems to be a glitch when slicing cucumbers. The “perfect cut” line indicators don’t appear, so the first cut can never be executed perfectly, therefore affecting the overall quality of the dish. The indicator lines only ever show up after making that first slice, but by then the best you can manage is a “good.”
Also, on the fifth day, after exiting out of your daily recap, the newspaper pops up asking if you want to rehire your assistant chef. Even if you cancel, or no matter how fast you buy it, by the time the newspaper disappears, you can no longer knock over the paperboy to play the mini game.

April 1, 2012 at 1:50 amIn Fusion King, the prefect slice indicator lines don’t show up when first slicing cucumbers. The lines don’t appear until after making the first slice, and it’s impossible to slice the entire item perfectly, thus affecting the quality of the entire dish.
Also, on the “fifth day,” after exiting out of your daily recap, the newspaper pops up asking if you’d like to rehire your assistant chef. No matter how quickly you purchase it, or even if you cancel out of it, you can never click on the paperboy to play the mini game.

April 13, 2012 at 10:13 pmHello!it is a great gamę for sure!
My questions are: 1. Even if I serve a table of 4 perfect dishes to all, only rarely do I receive gold coins. Is this a known glitch, or do I do sth wrong?
2. I’ve downloaded eliisaas assistant chef who was supposed to show me how many dishes to prepare exactly for the day. Unfortunately, everything on the menu screen looks exactly the same as before – No hints as to how many dishes I should buy. Any advise?
Otherwise you guys are being responsible for my being late to work almost every single day, so addictive

May 8, 2012 at 7:28 amorder up to go is a great game..been playing and still i like it and im npt bored.
Id like to know How can the assistant chef help? Can he do some chores? Or os he just tere talking when tapped?
75 | Team Chicken
May 8, 2012 at 12:44 pm@Jas – Assistants help in different ways, but all of them can cook food as well. Some assistants have special abilities (e.g. with Lunk hired, food will never get cold), and some have cooking specialties (Ichiro does all cutting, slicing, and dicing perfectly, every time).
To use an assistant, open the order ticket, then tap the assistant. Their window will get big to let you know they are ready to cook something for you. Then simply tap the order ticket step that you want then to cook! When they are done, a picture of the food will appear on them. Tap it and tap the plate/done button just like you do with other finished food.

May 8, 2012 at 12:46 pm@Wisegentleman – Sorry for not getting back to you on this. Is it still an issue?
@Aga – We have fixed a bug with Elita. She is supposed to show you red numbers on the menu board for any items that you do not have enough of. This will allow you to buy the perfect number of dishes every day (just order more until the number turns white). The fix will be present in the update that is coming this Thursday (May 10th).

May 15, 2012 at 9:49 pmI’m having a hard time figuring out how to use an assistant once I have one any help??? Love this game!!
78 | Team Chicken
May 15, 2012 at 10:03 pm@Hdawg – Some have special skills that aren’t specifically cooking, so keep an eye on that. For example, with Lunk Mandood hired, the food on the counter will never get cold. It will just stay hot (best heat tip). Elita Von Snoot will show you red numbers for any menu item that you don’t have enough of that day. So just order each dish until it turns white, and you’ll have a perfectly planned menu for the day (no missed orders and no over-ordering to be safe). But she also takes a “planning fee” off of every dish that day.
To make them cook something, just open up the Order Ticket, then tap on the Assistant. Their window should get bigger so you know they are ready. Then just tap on the menu step that you want them to do and they’ll get going. When they are done, you’ll see the finished food in their window. Tap it (just like activating a cooking station), then tap the done button.
Hope that helps!

May 23, 2012 at 12:57 pmA couple of things–
Only 3 assistants show up in the newspaper instead of 12. How do I get the others to show up?
Sometimes it snows in the Gravy Chug.
I “liked” Order Up To Go on Facebook, but didn’t get a gold coin.
81 | Team Chicken
May 23, 2012 at 5:37 pm@ Pixiestyx –
1) There are orange arrows on the left and right side of the screen when viewing the newspaper. Use these to turn the page and see more assistants.
2) Snows? It could be a bug where the sprinklers are on (usually only come on when the kitchen catches fire). Have you seen this often?
3) Tap the actual Facebook/Twitter/Pinterest buttons on the Main Menu of the game and you’ll get the coin (for each).
82 | Pixiestyx
May 23, 2012 at 9:43 pmThanks!
1) Duh! Got it.
2) Snow shows in the dining room throughout an entire day sometimes in Gravy Chug. Nothing to do with kitchen fire.
3) Did that for Facebook, and nothing. I’ll try Twitter and Pinterest.

June 8, 2012 at 9:40 pmHi! I love the game and virtually every aspect of it – my only complaint so far is that I cannot ever make a perfect spicy tuna roll in the Kung Fusion Restaurant because there are no slicing lines for the cucumber, thus making that at best “good” and preventing the dish from ever being labelled as “perfect”.

June 23, 2012 at 1:04 amHello, love your game. I got a question that I can’t find on the internet:
How to unlock Fortified Chef/Boat level? Is it by getting 100 in all 5 restaurants? If so, how to get 100? I seem to be stuck around 90. Oh, I’m playing on iPad 2.
Suggestion, you can totally make another game with the same game play but more depth, as currently there aren’t many games like it! and I’m sure there will be a lot more room for improvement on the new game instead of trying to improve/fix an old (classic) game.
Thank you for your time, and keep up the good work.

July 28, 2012 at 4:49 amHi, I really love the game but I am stuck at the second restaurant, I can’t seem to impress the food critic no matter what I do, I tried everything. Nothing can’t seem to please the food critic. Please help me!!!

August 13, 2012 at 10:31 amHi I love the game I’m at el fuego now but when I was cooking a dish the game send me back to the home screen. I opened the app and touched continue, there’s a gap while it was loading. Its not really visible when I’m outside the resturant but when I cook dishes everything seems like stretched. The timer is in the red zone but the ribbon said perfect, the pause and the assistants are at the middle of my screen.
IS THERE A SOLUTION cause it really confuse me when I cook. By the way I’m using iPad 2.

August 13, 2012 at 11:27 amI just noticed that all the hard work i have done in preparing the food for the customers and hiring help as well as improving the restaurant that the customers don’t even eat the food. :’( the fork and knife go right through the plate..
