JUN 20

We have once again teamed up with composer Robb Mills to create an all-new and original soundtrack for the upcoming versions of Order Up!! Robb did all of the excellent music for Fat Princess and Fistful of Cake, so we know the score is in great hands!

So, when can we expect at least the iOS versions? You guys should hold a beta test!

    Can I ask some questions?

    1. Do you have any interest in making a cartoony 3D platformer ala Mario/Crash/Spyro/Jak/etc? And if so, would you would you consider it for the Wii U?

    2. Are you able to say anything about what that Wii version of a big AAA game which got got canned that you were making? Did said game on the PS360 even come out? I assume you can’t actually name the game, but a hint would be nice, I think you said it was a Gears-styled game?

    3. What about that Wii RPG Wizard? I remember you saying that got canned, but any hope of it being revived on the Wii U? Weird that ZOO didn’t pick it up, as they’ve seem to be good with new budget IPs on the Wii (they did publish Order Up! after all). Hope for the best!

Thanks, and keep up the great work, and I wish you guys the best of luck and success in the future!

@ Hero – 1) Yes. Very much so. When? Not sure. We are very big on character animation here, and do have plans for some new stuff that is not quite a 3D platformer, but we think you will dig it. In fact, it heavily involves our branding (Monkeys! Robots!) It will start to reveal sometime this year after the various versions of Order Up!! start to release. 2) We were working with a very big name developer in the UK, which is sadly no longer in business. And yes, their 360 and PS3 versions of the game were released. An alternate title within the same license was eventually released on Wii as well. 3) We own the rights to all of the Wizard materials that we created. The game was originally to be published by Zoo, but the financing just wasn’t there to pull it off. It was a big and pretty endeavor. We are actively pitching the world and characters that we created in different and re-tooled ways, since the Wii is not high on publishers’ lists these days. But with Wii U, as with any new system, there is definitely renewed hope. Honestly, a lot of groups don’t know what to make of the new system yet though. We basically know as much as you do. For what it’s worth, the game certainly didn’t need to be limited to Wii. Oh, and in other new system news, we have Order Up!! (which means our engine as whole) running on the PS Vita! No release plans there yet, but look for us to find ways to support that system in the future. Sony has always been pretty great to us with new hardware.

@Mendi – We’re hearing that it may be available in December in limited supply, but we’re not sure where exactly. We’re hearing as early as December 9th for the 3DS…but that’s kind of out of our hands. It will definitely be available everywhere on all 3 new platforms in January.

@TechNick – Yeah, sorry for the silence. Went into serious “FINISH THIS GAME” mode. Lots of stuff comes up at the end of the year, including all of the planning for what’s next. We’ll be unveiling a brand new game very soon, and we’ve finally had some exciting movement on a proper Order Up 2! Stay tuned!
