I’ll put on the corporate (Bob Manhorn) avatar “hat” for this one. Unfortunately, we aren’t allowed to talk specifics on the release. That is entirely Sony’s side of things. We have only been able to say that it will be out in 2010…which is pretty obvious now.

Sony themselves started to post the anticipated release dates on their various sites, and a few folks picked up those dates directly from there, but we have never been able to specify the date. I’m guessing it will be announced very soon though.

But if I had a nickel for every time I said “I’m guessing blah blah blah will be very soon”…I’d have like 5 nickels.

ok, i was playing brownie town last night and it is huuuuuge even for 32 players. will it be this big in fistful of cake? will the level need to be modified or shrunk because if its not, ill be spending my whole time searching for someone to kill.

I kinda like big maps. Makes it seem more adventurous instead of a head on blood battle. Big maps do get me frustrated though if I’m really far and just die. Then I have to start all the way at the beginning. But it is pretty fun for defending.

MuyLoco, i agree but it was large for 32. what about 16? you would never find anybody. and also to team chicken, the first screenshot shows a series of logs in the top right corner. some previous screens show a wood themed castle. are these two maps connected? is this one of the psp exclusives.

Just got a bit of an update on the pricing. Now, of course, the final price isn’t set until all of the marketing and distribution plans are in place, but we have been told that it should be comparable to other titles that have made the PS3/PSN to PSP jump, such as PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe.

Just pre-ordered a game on shopto.net, the price is ~20 euro. Release date – 5 March. Same release date on play.co.uk and game.co.uk, so i think it’s official EU release date.

Also, here is a box art – http://img.game.co.uk/ml/3/4/5/2/345256ps_500h.jpg

will this be a download able game?

what was that black dark priest like line coming out of the reaper ?

    this has now been edited

  30. 30 | Team Chicken

    February 5, 2010 at 12:42 pm

Yes, it will be available for download through the Playstation Store everywhere, and will be available on UMD in several territories.

The Reaper’s power (the colored wavy line) is to suck the souls/life out of the other players, similar to the way the Dark Priest draws the health out of other players.
